This sounds a more complete album for me now and definitely a step up from the original. The lyrics are a bit strange, wasn't into writing back then so this isn't a masterpiece when it comes to the words, thankfully over the years I have gotten better at my lyrics. there were also some mastering and post mix problems with original, like pops and stuff which I have managed to get rid of!
There is great playing from all involved, I really loved what Rob Reed brought to this project piano wise, for me the worst part of the original was my vocals,This is also the last album I had recorded back then before I broke my right hand and then had to take a few years off for recovery by which time it was too late to do anything with this album and I had missed the boat.
This album also includes a great vocal performance by the Legendary singer of Magenta Christina Booth.
In the end though this album was tainted by someone getting a little too above there station and before I knew it I was being ripped off with the music credit for this album! I was lucky to get the credit i did despite writing about 90 percent of the record! and even though a few riffs were added to this album by someone else this is primarily my album!
The only track I did not want to re do was the last song The End Of Time, I left the original vocal on this one coz it sounds so broken up that it suited the tracks theme!
