Bill In The Tea is a progressive-rock inspired italian music group, born in Catania in 2010 From a project of Vittorio Asero, Giorgio Rosalia and Dario Anastasio, respectively guitarist, drummer and keyboarder of the band, soon joined by the guitarist Andrea Antonuzzo.
After a short period under the pseudonym "Gomma Bo Bo Bo" which see Giuseppe Trainiti to the Electric Bass including the wonderful voice of Giordana Toscano, they start a new project called "Khymeia" accompanied by some changes in the line-up: The bassist Bruno Alessi and the vocalist Marco Sferrazzo Join the Trio. With this brand-new formation the band shows his face to his real first audience performing a repertoire consisting of strictly Prog-Rock covers. Soon Sferrazzo abandons the band and the actual quartet focuses his attention on the composition of new songs signed "Bill In The Tea".
Their Musical Style is based on the good knowledge of the european prog scene of the decade 68'-78' and its contemporary derivatives: math rock, neo-prog
as well as hints of jazz fusion and classical music. On these solid foundations the sextet builds a unique and sophisticated sound, rich of violent sound assaults as well as a fine guitar melodies, decontextualizing the canons of progressive music and washing away the epical and classical elements that marked the birth of the genre, without ever forgetting its origins.
