Personal:

Flotsam, Jetsam............here we have a really great early preFM from The Fixx, an 80's band with NO equal in style and character.  Considering all the Fixx shows that have been here recently I owed it to myself and to all of you to transfer and share this.  I got it fairly cheap on eBay.  The vinyl was cleaned and dusted manually by myself before hand to minimize processing.  I also didn't do any fade in/fade outs at either begining or end of sides....reason being, alot of people like the adverts for historical purposes....those who don't know how to use Adobe Audition or what not to remedy that for themselves...as the show is now it will fit on 1 CD-r.  Aside from the processing I did above I touched NOTHING else.  I wanted it to be as natural as the vinyl and possibly the original broadcast.

This is a very tight, high-energy show prominently featuring songs from the "Shuttered Room" album with some "Reach The Beach" thrown in as it was an upcoming album.  VERY notable and favorite tunes for me are "Kingdom Christsake" which is a non-album track, "Cameras In Paris", "Lost Planes", & "Sinking Island".  I love the entire set for sure as I am a Fix-fan (Fixxture) for sure.

Anyways, this was a labour of love for me and I believe that I actually found a nice place with this transfer that might do the band proud.  Have fun, seed so others may enjoy as well, and please leave some comment on how you think it sounds...what could've made it better (aside from editing issues), and any other polite compliments or criticisms you might have.

Do NOT sell, Do NOT convert to mp3 (unless it's for personal use), and SHARE.  If you SELL this the torrent gods WILL find you....if you BOUGHT it you've been ripped off....GET your money BACK.
