Freddy Alexis is beside an experienced singer also band leader and name giver of Alexis. Previously he was active in Witchblade and in other local Chilean bands. Yes indeed we are dealing with a band from Chile that happens not so often. Although the country is now world famous for their mineworkers, but for real heavy /power metal we would never consider this country. What strikes the most is the professional level of the album in total, the artwork looks fine, production is excellent and musically there are absolutely no comments.

I hear you think. So is it a great album? No, unfortunately that is not quite true. Again the tracks are not bad but the regular eight tracks are common, too simple. The base is pure heavy, power metal as we know it from Priest and Iced Earth, but the band also makes trips like a little gothic in 'Breaking the Spell' also the instrumental 'Forest' shows another side. What I found most strange is that the three bonus tracks are the most interesting. The song 'Killing Truth’ is by far the best thing that they have to offer, a great heavy track with a really attractive chorus. The other two bonus tracks are fine, like the Priest song ‘The Witchblade’ and the acoustic ‘Without You’. Remarkable detail the last three bonus tracks are all from the previous Witchblade period. This should give some food for thought for Freddy Alexis and his associates. I hope they understand this and will work on it when they enter the studio again.
