End of status report

Glory Hunter is a progressive metal band from Italy. Formed in 1988, the band released one demo tape (Fighting for the earth), two mini-cds ("Psychotime"and "Walls of Silence") and this full lenght album "Ulysses, Day Two", a concept-album inspired to James Joyce's Ulysses, precisely to a possible second day after the novel's one. It is a very introspective album, and the band musical style has changed and developed from a techno-power metal to a progressive metal a la Queensryche/Fates Warning/ Dream Theater.
They reached some popularity in the italian heavy-metal scene in the nineties (expecially 1993-1995), playing at rock contest and tv shows. All the italian metal magazine at that time reviewed the album rating it almost to the top of the scale.
Unfortunately for the band and the fans, soon after the promotional tour of Ulysses the band split up.
After almost 10 years of inactivity, in 2008 Glory Hunters reunited. At moment the band is working on a new album, yet untitled, to be released on 2010.
