(Hard Rock) Slears - Far Away From Getting Somewhere - 2014, MP3, 320 kbps

With the two new additions in the line-up Daniel Rasquin on drums and Peter Kandlinger on Micro ask Slears, the band around the two guitarists Tom cheesemaker and Gustl Berauer, their debut album Far Away From Getting Somewhere in the shops. After several line-up changes since their demo Stormy Roads Ahead of 2008 was won for the mastering of the new album Mika Jussila from Finnvox Studios - a guarantee that the final product is at least technically sound higher demands.
How can we describe the individual pieces or where to classify? Time, cross-connections about to Fury in the Slaughterhouse can be filtered out (as in the title track, which acts as an opener, or in "Alive", which comes with a catchy lead solo). Other songs are much harder fall, for example. "Circles" or "fading" (very nice transition Shouts), which can be compared approximately with pieces of Broilers (minus German Lyrics!). The numbers go almost all well in the ear. It should be mentioned in this context the aufwartende with a finely tempered rhythm "Spit Or Swallow", which also has beautiful liquid, almost glam-heavy vocal lines. But the latter are not always implemented in the way they could be simply implemented. Singer Kandlinger sometimes seems a little weak in the chest (especially in the middle layers), pressed too much, as that he uses balanced while singing his body, and so arise to put it mildly throughout the album saw some inconsistencies.
With a little training, these should however be eradicated and so the future certainly looks Slears not gloomy, but the band demonstrates in many places a good sense of melody and harmonious arrangements, coupled with the necessary hardness, at least at the Hard Rock , if difficult in Metal-range, to find their followers.(google)
