Frontside Five came to life in a downtown Denver garage during the Summer of 2002 by a group of friends who shared a common idea. The idea was to create original, fast, powerful, music that represented the things we love and hated the most. The things we love; skate sessions, loud music, and beer. The things we hate; anything that does not include the items listed in the previous sentence. The primary goal of our music is to capture everything about skateboarding that has shaped our lives from the very beginning. We have spent countless hours creating art and music that represents this idea. Driven by the motivation to be heard and succeed, Frontside Five has been frequently playing live shows throughout Colorado for the past two years at bars, clubs, skateparks, and theaters. Frontside Five has done two tours including trips to Las Vegas and Chicago with plans on touring New Mexico and Arizona this January. They have shared the stage with some of the best local bands and national acts including; The Exploited, D.R.I., The Adicts, The Skulls, Agent Orange, Total Chaos, Zeke, Speedeeler, D.I., The Exploding Fuck Dolls, and the greatest skate rock band, Monster Trux. We have appeared on the Undead In Denver II comp., self released a 5 song EP called the DSP/EP, self released a full length album entitled, No Pegs, and have plans to return to the studio this January to record songs for the upcoming Drink-Fight-Fuck compilation on Roman Ruin Records and several 7” releases for Spring ‘05. We are currently sponsored by Vision Street Wear, Equillibrium Clothing, and Super Screenprint. Our goals for 2005 include writing/recording another LP, and finding a label to help support a full time touring schedule.
